Summary SC found Prime Minister Gilani guilty of contempt of court and handed him a sentence of 30 seconds.
It goes without saying that by the time PM left the court premises, his sentence was over.The court also observed that Gilani could be rendered ineligible to stay a member parliament in the due course of time.A seven-member bench headed by Justice Nasirul Malik announced the verdict.The PM was charged for refusing to obey an order to write to the authorities in Switzerland to ask them to re-open corruption cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
