Summary US special envoy for Pak-Afghan Marc Grossman will arrive in Islamabad on Wednesday (today).
According to the sources, US President Barack Obama’s special representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan Marc Grossman would hold meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani, Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani , Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and other officials of the country during his ever visit after Salala incident.PAK-US relations including Parliamentary Committee on Security (PCNS) recommendations regarding NAT supply resumption, drone attack would come under discussion during the meetings.The sources claimed that US has decided to geared up diplomatic contact with Pakistan following parliamentary committee recommendation on foreign policy and security issues for the country with US.It is worth mentioning that Pakistani leadership had already conveyed a strong message to Washington that until seeking apology on Salala check post, Pakistan would not proceed further in term of Pak-US relation.Marc Grossman last time visited Pakistan in October 2011.
