Summary SC put off hearing of petition regarding recording of Hussain Haqani statement by video link.
A 10-memebr bench headed by Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry conducted hearing of the writ petition moved by Haqqani’s counsel Asima Jahangir who gave her preliminary arguments. With the reference of the SC, she said that Hussain Haqqani has been directed to record his statement in person. The reality is that the order issued by the SC has nothing to do with such thing, she contended.
