A 9-member committee started investigation to find causes of into Bhoja Airlines crash.

A 9-member committee, headed by Group Captain Sardar Ilyas, started investigation to find causes of into Bhoja Airlines crash near Islamabad. The Bhoja Air passenger jet crashed Friday evening as it tried to land in a thunderstorm at Islamabad s main airport, killing all 127 people on board.The committee will focus on three options to find the cause of the crash which included (i) the operational fault forcing the plane to attempt crash landing, (ii) some technical fault and (iii) lightening struck the plane.The investigation team visited the site of the crash in Hassan Abad and measured the area where the debris of the ill-fated plane was scattered. The committee inspected the spots where the wheals to the jet touched the ground.The investigation team said that it will take 10 days to collect evidences of the crash while the cause of the crash will be finalised after receiving reports on voice recorder and black box. Meanwhile, the CDA has handed over the record of the digital flight data of the plane to Civil Aviation Authority.Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that six people have shares in Bhoja Air including Farooq Boja had only 5 percent share in the airlines while Arshad Jalil, Mrs Arshad Jalil and Umer Jalil had 40, 20 and 20 percent shares respectively.He added that Zeeshan Kirmani and Mazhar Hussain were having 7.5 percent shares each.He said that Mr. and Mrs. Jalil were in China and added that they had been directed to return Pakistan.On the other hand, the Defence Minister Ahmad Mukhtar has ordered for re-inspection of planes of all private airlines to ensure safety of the travelling passengers.
