Summary Curfew cripples life in Gilgit-Baltistan, security forces continue patrolling the streets.
About 34 people including a civil judge, doctor and mill workers abducted from Hunza Nagar were recovered yesterday. The abductors kept them in their custody for eight days. However, they were freed by endeavours of tribal chiefs and provincial government on Wednesday.The recovered people have demanded to bring the perpetrators to justice.On the other hand, life and business activities remain suspended as curfew in Gilgit-Baltistan has entered its tenth consecutive day. Citizens are facing extreme shortage of food, fuel and medicine in the violence-hit area.
