The judges who took oath under Provisional Constitution Order are still judges of respective courts and their fate would be decided by the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), said Chief Justice of High Court of Sindh (SHC) Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany. He said this while addressing Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) on Wednesday. CJ SHC said we should forget the past but not the sacrifices rendered. He said PCO judges are still the judges but will not work till orders by SJC, he said refusing to comment on appointment of judges and added that appointment of judges is a sensitive issue and not to be discussed like this. Later he cut a cake to mark the dawn of an independent judiciary in Pakistan. All the judges of SHC available at Karachi were present at the high tea.
