Special Support Group Chairman Lt General Nadeem Ahmad says that registration of further Malakand IDPs has been stopped. He said 162,000 families have been returned homes by now. He said cash cards would be distributed among the IDPs from August 01. Addressing a press conference in Peshawar he said that 329,792 families had been registered so far. He said that government had allocated Rs 7 billion for 280,000 families. He said 1.5 billion rupees would be released in addition to the earlier funds. He said that 81 percent people returned in their own vehicles. He said in next two days areas of Matta and Kanjo would also be cleared. He said that circumstances were not fully under controlled in Swat and Buner however the life was returning there. He said that an estimation of loss in Swat was being made, adding that the repair work could take from two to three months. He said that security forces were narrowing the circle against Fazlullah and Muslim Khan.
