Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has claimed that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has issued apology over the behavior of Nazim Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal. He said the notification of slashing city nazim powers would not be withdrawn. On the other hand, MQM says it hasnt apologized. Talking to the media at CM house Qaim said, There is no deadlock between the PPP and the MQM. Disagreements between the two parties exist on several issues which are being resolved. He said that he could not comment on city naizms petition as the issue was Sub Judice. On the other hand the MQM spokesman said that the MQM did not apologize in the session of the Core Committee. He said that only notification and petition were discussed. The MQM and the PPP are allies in the Sindh Government and the next session of the core committee will be held on Friday. The leadership of both the parties will decide on how to implement the decisions taken by them. Earlier both the parties had agreed to resolve disputes. The session was called to resolve a conflict between the Sindh Government and the City Government Karachi on the issue of land and propertys buying and transfer. Both the parties agreed to resolve the issue in the core committee session instead of court.
