As many as four militants were killed, 18 others apprehended while two others including a local commander surrendered before the security forces during clearance and search operation in different parts of Swat, Malakand and Mohmand. According to ISPR on Wednesday, two personnel were injured while total 10 hideouts of militants were demolished during the search operations. The details revealed that security forces conducted search operation at Tal near Shah Dheri, during which two militants were apprehended and 10 militants hideouts were destroyed in area around Dhardial and Unra Sar. Two security forces personnel were injured during the operation. Local Jirga handed over a suspected terrorist to security forces at Bahrain. Security forces conducted search operation at Amankot, Ahingro Derai, Minar Qambar and Landikas near Mingora and killed four militants and apprehended three suspects. Security forces conducted search operation at Sangota near Mingora and apprehended nine suspects. A terrorist voluntarily surrendered himself to security forces at Sakhra near Matta. During routine search by security forces at Dheri Village near Dewana Baba apprehended six suspects and demolished 8 militants houses. A terrorist commander Umar Said alias Zarqawi of Asi Kot Qandharo in voluntarily surrendered before civil administration. Total 228,364 cash cards have so far been distributed amongst the IDPs of Malakand who were provided ration equal to 12 trucks load.
