Six cases of Covid variant 'XBB' reported from Karachi

KARACHI ( Dunya News ) – The new coronavirus variant had reached Pakistan on Tuesday. It was on this very day the six cases of the recently arrived variant ‘XBB’ were reported from Karachi.

The Sindh health department’s officials said three cases from Defence Housing Authority, one each from Shadman and Tariq road and one case from District East came to light.

The new variant was identified as the sub-variant of the omicron variant of coronavirus.

The experts advised the people having covid symptoms to first isolate themselves then get the booster doze and also avoid going to huge crowds.
