Summary New Covid variant reaches Pakistan
ISLAMABAD ( Dunay News ) – The health authorities on Tuesday confirmed new Coronavirus variant – from China - had been found in Pakistan.
The experts at the National Institute of Health and Agha Khan University confirmed that the new XBB variant had reached Pakistan.
Former health adviser to the prime minister Dr Faisal Sultan mentioned : “Apart from XBB variant, BF-7 variant was also in Pakisan.”
However, health officials say that situation was not a matter of grave concern for Pakistan as the people of the country had better immune response than Chinese and therefore the condition would not be as chaotic as in China.
