Heart patients increased by 10 per cent due to cold weather

LAHORE ( Dunya News ) – The excessive cold had also affected the condition of the heart patients with an increase of 10 per cent among the patients with heart diseases.

Health experts have advised the people to adopt precautionary measures and stay indoor unless there is necessary travel.

MS Punjab Institute of Cardiology Dr Muhammad Tehseen has said arteries find it difficult to maintain the regular level of blood circulation.

The heart does not get the required quantity of blood and it has to work extra which create medical complications for heart patients.
