Italian artists protest wearing black balloons

Balloons are usually the symbol of happiness but in Italy artists protested against the government by wearing black balloons on their hands and heads. They protested against a cut in the funds reserved for the fine arts. Hundreds of people including famous showbiz personalities of Italy participated in the protest. Italian Prime Minister has cut 250 million Euros from a fund reserved for films, dance and theaters. The protesters said that some 0.2 million people are linked to the fine arts industry in Italy and the reduction in fund would adversely affect the industry.
