Bollywood star to promote book in Dubai

Indian actor Anupam Kher, who recently released his motivational book, The Best Thing About You is YOU, will be in Dubai on Tuesday to meet fans and sign copies of the book. The versatile actor, whose career spans more than three decades in Bollywood, has said his one-man autobiographical play, Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai (Anything can happen), was the inspiration for the book.“There are more lessons to be learnt from failure than success and dealing with failure successfully has been my way of combating the vicissitudes of life,” he had said when the book was released early last month in Mumbai by colleague and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.Kher will be seen later this year in the film adaptation of controversial author Salman Rushdie’s book ‘Midnight’s Children’. It will be directed by award-winning filmmaker Deepa Mehta.He will meet fans and sign books between 12-1pm at the Lamcy Plaza atrium on Tuesday.
