Three-day chocolate festival kicks off in southern India

Locals throng the three-day chocolate festival, which kicked off in Coimbatore city of Indias southern Tamil Nadu state.Organiser of the chocolate festival, Divya Anbuselvam, said such festival, showcasing chocolate buffet, has been conducted for the first time and the festival has got good feedback and the visitors said it is something different and conceptual.“We have tried out a new thing, choco sense. We have an exclusive chocolate buffet from soup to dessert; everything has chocolate. Even we have chocolate beeda and we have a variety of non-vegetarian and vegetarian desserts made out of chocolate. Every dish has chocolate in it,” said Anbuselvam.Varieties of chocolates like gourmet chocolates, various vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes made of chocolates, chocolate soup and chocolate drinks were on display. Replica of various animals made of chocolates was also seen at the fair. Visitors said all the items made of chocolates were displayed very finely and were too tempting.“Various and different varieties of chocolates have showcased here and we saw cakes of various types. Children enjoyed a lot here. Everything has been showcased in a very fine and appealing manner,” said Praddep.
