Famous Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has returned to India after a ten-year break.

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has returned to Mumbai city in Indias western Maharashtra state after a ten year hiatus.The actress, who is well known across India, returned with her family including her husband, UCLA trained cardiovascular surgeon Dr Sriram Madhav Nene, and sons Arin and Raayan.The actress said she was happy to return to India and would work in films but at her own pace. She added that India offered a lot of opportunities and that she was happy to be back.There are a lot of opportunities here. More than anything else off course, I am from India and I have grown up here and its wonderful to be back. Its wonderful to see the reaction and I would like to thank my fans for blessing me and being so excited.Rumours had gone viral pending Dixits arrival and it was also thought that she was coming back due to recession. There are also rumours floating around that her marriage was on the rocks.But Dixit made it clear that she was coming back as her heart was in India and that her husband was fascinated with the country.Dixit also answered questions about her family and added that though her husband might take some time to adjust, her children could cope with the relocation because of new friends they were bound to make.Dixit is also a trained Kathak dancer and is a native of Mumbai. She was born Madhuri Shankar Dixit to Shankar and Snehlata Dixit on 15 May, 1967.Dixit had primarily appeared in Hindi films throughout the 1980s and 90s. She appeared in many commercially successful films and had won five Filmfare awards.The actress was conferred with Indias fourth-highest civilian honour - the Padma Shri award in 2008 for her contribution to the film industry.
