History of the Royal Emerald Choker:
Queen Mary received the choker from the Ladies of India in 1911 and was passed on to Princess Diana by her mother-in-law soon after she got married to Prince Charles. Both the Royal sons, Prince William and Harry inherited most of their mother’s jewelry pieces which were naturally passed on to their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle respectively.
