Shakira to perform in Frankfort

Grammy-winning pop star Shakira is in Frankfurt for her delayed concert from The Sun Comes Out tour. The singer was forced to cancel the Frankfurt gig last year, when the ash cloud forced airports across Europe to close.The Colombian singer told the media that she came to Frankfurt to sign an agreement with the German Ministry for Development to support her foundation, Pies Descalzos (Bare Feet Foundation), which raises money for poor children.Shakira’s song Rabiosa is enjoying immense popularity and is featured in her current album, Sale el Sol, which already sold over four million copies.
