(Dunya News) – An event held by ‘I Am Karachi’ provided a platform for young singers of Lyari to perform in front of a live audience and showcase their hidden singing talents.
In a lively event, where people clapped and cheered for performers, the talented youth of Lyari got an opportunity to shine through their performances.

Discussions were held during the event including one on whether music could bring harmony in a society.
During the event, judges appreciated the talent of Lyari’s young people, and emphasised that everyone should be given a chance to perform at such events.
Pakistan’s most renowned classical dancer Sheema Kirmani’s performance stole everyone’s hearts. Speaking to Dunya News, Kirmani said that such events are much needed for aspiring performers. She said young performers today need proper guidance and should be given confidence to pursue singing and performing as a career.
