Karachi: Mehdi Hassans condition improves

The legendary Ghazal singer Mehdi Hassans condition has improved and he has been shifted to medical ward from the ICU.

Almost two weeks ago, Mehdi Hassan was shifted to a private hospital in Karachi due to infection. Mehdi Hassan’s son Arif Mehdi told Dunya News that if his condition improves, we might take him back home in about two days time. He also told that upon getting the news of Mehdi Hassan’s ailment, Indian singers Hari Haran, Talat Aziz and Sonu Nigam telephoned to ask his welfare; however none of Pakistan’s singer or politician has so far contacted him in this regard.
