I can't adjust to the ideas of current films: Mohan Joshi

Dunya News

But the actor finds it boring to do roles in TV and films, due to lack of exciting work.

MUMBAI (Web Desk) - In Indore to stage a Marathi play, actor Mohan Joshi got talking with us about the culturally-inclined state of Madhya Pradesh.

"I have been associated with MP for the last 15 years.

MP is like my second home. It s a culturally inclined state. Bhopal aur Indore ki audience bahut responsive hain.

Whether it s comedy or a serious play, they never fail to give you an honest feedback.

Viewers here are hungry to see something new, and they also know how to appreciate an artiste s efforts. I

t s always a pleasure to perform in MP.

I love coming back to this beautiful state. People here are adorable and simple. Moreover, I m also happy to see that a lot of youngsters here are so much into theatre.

It s a very good trend for the industry," he said.

But the actor finds it boring to do roles in TV and films, due to lack of exciting work.

"The only reason why I have stopped doing Hindi films and daily soaps is because I cannot adjust to the ideas of current films and serials.

You re made to do the same thing daily, and there s hardly any variation. Gangaajal was my last project, and after having done more than 375 films, I was like  bahut ho gaya, aise hi chalta raha toh saari creativity khatam ho jaayegi . I

m focusing on theatre and the experience is simply fantastic. At this age, it is hectic, but very satisfying. I m loving it more than doing films, as you get to experiment a lot," he added.
