Bachchans promote upcoming film 'Paa'

The 'on screen couple' of forthcoming Bollywood film 'Paa' promote their movie in India's entertainment capital Mumbai, which would show the reverse real life relationship of Bollywood's most renowned father-son, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan. The 'on screen couple' of forthcoming Bollywood film 'Paa' - Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan promoted their movie in India's entertainment capital Mumbai on Thursday. It is a movie which is said to show the reverse real life relationship of Bollywood's most renowned father-son, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan. The 67-year-old actor Amitabh Bachchan, fondly addressed as the Big-B, arguably is the biggest name in Indian cinema today. He is also patriarch of an acting dynasty that includes his son Abhishek and daughter-in-law, ex-Miss World Aishwarya Rai, and in the movie 'Paa', he would be playing the role of a 13-year old boy, diagnosed with Progeria. Interestingly, the Big-B's son Abhishek is playing the role of a father in this movie. The onscreen mother and father of 13-year old Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan promoted their movie at an event that was tied up with an Indian insurance company. Abhishek Bachchan being the actor as well as the co-producer of 'Paa' said that the entire team of the film is proud to make the film. The entire team is very proud of the film because we have made the film we wanted to make. We have made the film the way we wanted to make it and when we see the film, today we can say with great confidence and pride that yes, this is the film we always wanted to make, said Abhishek Bachchan. Vidya Balan, who is playing mother to Amitabh Bachchan, said that the film will always remain special for her. One should keep on trying. If it is fruitful then it is fantastic. It (the film) becomes fruitful only when audiences watch it. We feel very proud. I have seen the film and feel very happy to be associated with this film and to be in this film. It will always remain a very special film for me opined Vidya Balan. 'Paa' is a project of Amitabh Bachchan's ABCL (AB Corp) production house, which has produced a film after a long gap. Bachchan plays a boy named Auro who actually looks 25 odd years older due to the genetic disease. The film has already gained palpable excitement among the audience due to real life role reversal. 'Paa' is slated to be released on Friday.
