U2 song 'Magnificent' soundtracks climate dance

Over 11,000 people, mainly from Belgium, dance to the U2 song 'Magnificent' to mobilise the world in demanding their leaders pledge to seriously cut CO2 emissions at the upcoming Copenhagen Climate conference. Organisers want the clip to be shown throughout the world before the Copenhagen climate conference (December 7-18). The European Union, which plans to cut its emissions by between 20 and 30 percent below 1990 levels by 2020, sees itself as a leader in fighting climate change. U2's lead singer Bono agreed to allow the song 'Magnificent' to be used for free for the occasion.
