Amitabh Bachchan's movie 'Paa' unveiled

The fist-look of movie 'Paa' was released in India's entertainment capital Mumbai and it proved the role reversal of Bollywood's most renowned father-son, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan in the reel life.The 67-year-old actor Bachchan, arguably the biggest name in Indian cinema and also patriarch of an acting dynasty that includes his son Abhishek and daughter-in-law, ex-Miss World Aishwarya Rai, would be playing the role of 13-year old boy, diagnosed with Progeria. His real life son Abhishek is playing his father's character in the movie. In childhood he used to make me sit on his shoulders. I always have a lot of fond memories of looking down upon everybody because I used to be sitting on my dad's shoulder as kid, and it was wonderful to repay the favour, Abhishek told reporters.Progeria, also known as Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome - is an extremely rare genetic condition wherein symptoms resembling aspects of ageing are manifested at an early age.Amitabh Bachchan's fan would also have doubts in recognising him after seeing his bald look wearing school uniform in the poster and promo of the movie that was unveiled. Abhishek along with Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, 31, who would be playing the role of Amitabh Bachchan's mother, unveiled the poster and promo of the movie. Bachchan plays a boy named 'Auro' who actually looks 25 odd years older than him due to the genetic disease. The film has already gained palpable excitement among the audience due to real life role reversal.Trade experts feel that movie would be path breaking. 'Paa' is a project of Amitabh Bachchan's ABCL (AB Corp) production house, which has produced a film after a long gap. 'Paa' is all set to release on November 13.
