Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turns 36 today. She was born on 1 November 1973. Rai has been the most popular face of Indian cinema globally. Rai was born in Mangalore to Krishnaraj Rai and Vrinda Rai. She married to actor Abhishek Bachchan on April 20, 2007. She is often cited as the most beautiful woman in the world. In the 1994 Miss India contest, she won the second place. She won the Miss World title same year.Rai made her movie debut in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Iruvar (1997) and had her first commercial success in the Tamil movie Jeans (1998).
