Decked up by the cattle owners in bright and colourful attire, the buffaloes walked in a fashion show in Madhepura district of India's eastern Bihar state. The villagers of Sahugarh said they wanted to take the show to rest of the country. We thought of organising this unique fashion show as buffaloes are revered here and worshipped. We want to organise such events at a larger platform, Pandav Yadav, one of the cattle owners. The cattle owner, whose buffalo stood first, took home a cash prize of $ 10.69. The organisers of the show said that they intended to highlight their plight.
