Summary
This summer, Ukrainian Kseniya Simonova moved audiences to tears as she won the talent show Ukraine's Got Talent by drawing pictures of the Nazi invasion into Ukraine in a light-box filled with sand. Audience and judges of the television show, a franchise of Britain's Got Talent, wept as Simonova told a painful chapter of her country's history in sand. The eight and half minute long dazzling show grabbed the top prize of 120,000 U.S. dollars, and became an instant hit on You-Tube, with more than two million hits since it's broadcast. Simonova, who has a light-box with sand in her living room, is now preparing for a tour around major European cities.
