Salman Khan, the famous Bollywood actor visited the Children's Aid Society, a remand home for juvenile run by a non-governmental organisation (NGO) in India's western city of Mumbai on Tuesday. Later, he donated a truckload of food grains for the inmates of the juvenile home. He was present with the cast and crew of his upcoming movie 'Wanted' donated food grains worth 2.5 million rupees. Talking to reporters Salman Khan said that he always wanted to do something for the 'Have-not' children residing in such homes and this was the best way of serving food to them was the donating one's mite. Besides holding the image of arrogant and bad boy among the movie-goers of Hindi films, Bollywood Salman Khan has been trying to bring a new kind-hearted people's man image by being associated with a lot of organisations supporting social causes. Salman Khan will be seen in 30 public-awareness short films produced to highlight public issues before his film 'Wanted' is slated to release later this month. These films will have Salman addressing the public about social issues such as drugs, old people, and crime.
