Actors Pierce Brosnan, Jessica Alba and Mila Jovovic turned out for the Versace Haute Couture show on Sunday (July 1), kicking off the French capitals fashion shows of some of the most expensive garments on earth.Versace said the show was built upon the idea of deconstruction and reconstruction in all various forms.Inspired by imagery and decoration of tarot cards, powerful symbols such as the sun, moon and world are reproduced on weightless fabrics with a glass effect, Atelier Versace said in a statement.The statement added that the elements of the cards had been rendered and embroidered as though seen through the eyes of artist Pablo Picasso, giving them an abstract feel.It said double silk had been used which was printed and layered with transparent plastic and sliced into strips to reconstruct the patterns on the body.Brosnan, whose roles have included James Bond, said he had not had to travel far for the show.The house makes incredible clothes and Im making a movie here and Im just around the corner, he said.Alba said she was an unashamed fan.Well, Ive known Versace for years, Donatella, the first time I met her instincticly made me feel like I was one of her best girlfriends, shes so sweet , so generous, and a really genuine lovely lovely person, she said.
