Summary

Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu is all set to return to roots after nine years in Bollywood and will star in a Bengali film. Bips picked Rituparno Ghosh's Saab Charitro Kalpanik to make her debut in Bengali cinema. There has always been expectations about me doing a Bengali film and most importantly my parents wanted to see me in a Bengali film, Bipasha revealed. She said, Rituparno did not want me to look muscular and the moment I draped that saree I felt so much at home. For the movie, Bipasha underwent more makeovers than one, not only did she turn from a B-town hottie to a coy Kolkata housewife, she is also allowed herself to indulge in Bengali delicacies back home. She said, Back in Bollywood we're very spoilt, but I have to say here I ate all kinds of misti dahi and fish and came back with some extra kilos. Bipasha, to her credit, has super-hit movies like Oam Kara, Ajnabi, No Entry and many others.
