On the weekend of one of the biggest events on the Formula One annual calendar, Monacos prince and princess attended a fashion show featuring drivers from the sport and celebrities.Prince Albert and Princess Charlene watched fashion shows by Brazilian designer Daniella Issa and German designer Philipp Plein in the small Mediterranean principality.Celebrities such as the Hunger Games Jennifer Lawrence, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, and A Single Man actor Nicolas Hoult from Britain were amongst the guests in attendance.Current Formula One driver Bruno Senna and former F1 driver Eddie Irvine also watched the catwalk and auction, which raised money for the Special Olympics.The event in Monte Carlos Amber Lounge was complete with Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone and his two daughters Petra and Tamara.Issa, whos most famous for designing the dress Britains Duchess of Cambridge Catherine wore at the announcement of her engagement to Prince William, said the warm weather of the Mediterranean was perfect for her type of clothes.Issa clothes are very easy, very relaxed, laid-back, clothes you can wear with heels then you can take your shoes off and feel super comfortable with all those beautiful boats they have here and lounge in the pool so theyre perfect for the environment, she told Reuters Television.It was very special because today there were no usual models wearing the clothes, they were the drivers, and the sports guys wearing it and this was a big pleasure for me to see these young, talented guys wearing it because everybody can hire models to present your clothes but today it was something completely different, said Plein.
