Miley Cyrus and Twilight were the big winners at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, with the Hannah Montana star bringing home six awards, and the adolescent vampire flick taking eleven surfboard-shaped prizes in total. Other big winners included pop trio the Jonas Brothers, who hosted the event and took home five awards, and pop star Britney Spears. Cyrus' six awards were for comedy TV show and actress for Hannah Montana; music/dance movie actress and hissy fit for Hannah Montana: The Movie; music single for The Climb and summer song for Before the Storm with the Jonas Brothers. Accepting her award for, Cyrus thanked god, as well as the fans that nominated her. Later on in the show, Cyrus presented Britney Spears with the Ultimate Choice Award, for her presence as a top-selling female artist since appearing at the very first Teen Choice Awards eleven years ago. I'm a huge fan of hers, said Cyrus of Spears. Twilight, the wildly popular teen vampire movie based on the book series of the same name, won eleven awards in total, with stars Kristen Stewart winning in the movie drama actress category, and Robert Pattinson winning in the movie drama actor category, and picking up a second award for male hottie. Other awards for Twilight included choice movie drama, romance, rumble, soundtrack, movie villain, and movie liplock. Other standout moments in the show included Mike Tyson shearing the head of Joe Jonas in a dare the Jonas Brothers stunt, Miley Cyrus pole dancing in a musical number, and awards for celebrities Cameron Diaz and Hugh Jackman.
