Whether it's magic or illusion, one thing is sure, Criss Angel is back with tricks that will boggle your mind. The fifth season of Criss Angel Mindreak premieres on A&E on August 12th. In the premiere episode, Angel is buried alive inside a coffin for a stunt he calls White Death. Angel is shackled and placed in a transparent coffin that is buried underneath 5,000 pounds of wet snow on Mammoth Mountain. The mountain is 10 thousand feet above sea level, so Angel has to contend with depleted oxygen and hypothermia. Other demonstrations Angel will attempt include traversing a field of live explosives in less than five minutes and attempting to teleport himself. Perhaps the most ambitious, is something Angel says has never been done before - a mass levitation. In front of over a thousand people who will be watching, I'll pick 12 people to experience levitation, whether it's a foot off the ground or 20 feet off the ground, and if I'm successful with that I'm going to turn the tables on the viewer and attempt to literally levitate people in their own home. Millions of people at the same time will experience levitation or something that will happen that is unexplainable.
