Summary Asin has showed her reluctance to act with Shahid Kapoor in his upcoming Tamil film Vettai.
Shahid Kapoor has recently signed a contract with a Mumbai production house to act in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Vettai while the search is still on for lead actors in Bollywood to star in the film with Shahid Kapoor.According to industry sources, south actor Asin was one of the earliest choices for the Hindi version, which will be helmed by director Lingusamy.But it is reported that Asin is not paying much attention to the offer at the moment. It is rumoured that Asin was fuming and sources close to her have supposedly said that at a time when she is acting with the likes of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, there is no need for her to do a film with Shahid.She was also apparently not keen on playing sister to another actor (the Tamil film had Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul playing sisters).
