One person was killed and 75 others were injured when a stage collapsed at a country music festival in Alberta, in central Canada. Around 20 people were hospitalized after the stage collapsed when the Big Valley Jamboree venue was hit by heavy rain and strong winds. Two of the injured were in critical condition, the officials told. Hollywood star Kevin Costner, who was scheduled to play a show with his band Modern West, also visited injured concert-goers in hospital. A severe weather system moved through Camrose consisting of high winds and heavy rains. The concert at Big Valley Jamboree was delayed and the concert bowl was being cleared when a small portion of the main stage collapsed.
