Summary The results of Intermediate Part-I have been delayed across Punjab.
All educational boards have expressed inability to announce results on the scheduled date of Oct 5. Punjab’s intermediate and secondary boards, including Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sargodha and DG Khan boards, have excused the Secretary Higher Education regarding the delay in the results.However, much to the candidates’ annoyance, the boards have neither announced a new or a tentative date for results.Sources said the boards will first compile the results and inform the Punjab government, which would itself announce the results. The board heads have been barred from announcing new dates for result.The boards have reportedly sought a week’s time. Reports said that results may be announced around the mid of October (Oct 15).
