Summary The entry test for Punjabs medical colleges was held by the University of Health Sciences.

Thousands of the students appeared in the entrance test for government as well as private medical and dental colleges in Punjab.21 centres were established in 12 cities of Punjab including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur and Rahimyar Khan.In Lahore, three examination centres were established on different locations including Punjab University’s examination centre Wahdat Road, Intermediate Board Lawrence Road and examination centre at University of Engineering and technology where 10083 candidates appeared in the test.The number of candidates appearing in the entry test in other cities was 5252 in Rawalpindi, 4779 in Multan, 2430 in Faisalabad, 2594 in Gujranwala, 1712 in Bahawalpur, 1313 in Sahiwal, 853 in Rahimyar Khan, 1115 in Gujrat, 1024 in Dera Ghazi Khan, 1170 in Sargodha and 369 candidates appeared in the entry test in Hassan Abdaal.The entry test with 220 MCQs started at 9am and continued for two and half an hours. The candidates were instructed to reach the venue one hour earlier while traffic and parking problems were also reported due to participation of thousands of the candidates.
