JHELUM (Dunya News) – Dacoits killed a 54-year-old man on putting resistance during a robbery in Quaidabad here on Monday.
The victim identified as Saghir attempted to foil robbery attempt in a street where robbers were plundering cash and other valuables from women. The robbers seeing the man approaching them, they opened fire on him and fled with cash and other valuables.
Saghir was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. On information, police reached the crime scene to collect forensic evidence and record statements from onlookers.
Police said efforts were under way to reach out to the perpetrators, vowing that the culprits would be arrested soon and brought to justice at the earliest.
