Summary A court deferred the bail verdict of alleged facilitators in the Anmol alias Pinky drug case, while police submitted an interim charge sheet in a related murder case.

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Developments have emerged in the drug trafficking and murder cases involving alleged drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky, with court proceedings continuing in both matters.

A hearing was held in the South Sessions Court regarding the narcotics case registered at Garden Police Station, where the court deferred its verdict on the bail applications of the alleged facilitators of the accused.

The decision on the bail pleas was postponed until Thursday due to the leave of the presiding judge.

Earlier, co-accused Suhail Rehman and Zeeshan had filed bail applications, with the defence arguing that the two men had no connection to the alleged activities of Anmol alias Pinky.

According to police, a case against the accused has been registered at Garden Police Station.

Meanwhile, in the murder case linked to Anmol alias Pinky, police have submitted an interim charge sheet before the court.

The interim report lists the complainant, the official who examined the body, the ambulance driver and the officer who registered the FIR as witnesses. The investigating officer stated that shortcomings in the interim charge sheet would be rectified in the final report.

The Deputy District Public Prosecutor had earlier pointed out serious deficiencies in the interim charge sheet.

The case is linked to the discovery of an unidentified man's body in Karachi's Baghdadi area on April 7. Police suspect the deceased had been obtaining drugs from Anmol alias Pinky and said the death was caused by narcotics consumption.
