QUETTA (Dunya News) – The wanted suspect in the incident of throwing acid on a lady doctor at Civil Hospital Quetta was killed in an alleged police encounter.
According to the police, there was an exchange of fire between the police and the accused at the Nushki Bus Stop. In the shootout, the accused identified as Humayun Shah was eliminated. A weapon was recovered from the dead suspect.
According to sources, the accused who threw acid on the lady doctor turned out to be a lift operator at Quetta Civil Hospital. He belonged to Nushki District.
Investigations are underway from various aspects related to the incident. His mobile phone has been sent for forensics.
