Two robbers held after encounters with police in Bahawalnagar

BAHAWALNAGAR (Dunya News) – Crime Control Department (CCD) police arrested two outlaws after they were injured in an exchange of fire in two incidents here on Wednesday.
The suspected outlaws were identified as Amir and Imran. Police claimed that the arrested suspects were history-sheeters and involved in heinous crimes.
The encounters took place in Village Motipura and Fareed Road. They allegedly opened fire on police at security barricades when police gave them a signal to stop for checking.
Their three accomplices escaped after taking advantage of darkness. Police launched a manhunt for them. The injured were admitted to hospital. Weapons were recovered from them. Further investigation was underway.
