ROJHAN (Dunya News) – A police operation against gangsters in the Katcha area is underway, with drone shelling targeting criminal hideouts, officials said.

According to the District Police Officer (DPO), 98 highly wanted criminals surrendered to authorities, fearing for their lives. Among them is the infamous Sabz Ali Umrani, known as a “crore-head” gangster. So far, seven criminals with a bounty of one crore each have surrendered.

The arrested gangsters were wanted in multiple cases of kidnapping, murder, and robbery.

Over the past 11 days, a total of 309 criminals have laid down their arms, police said.

Police also destroyed 33 hideouts and bunkers used by the gangsters. Officials confirmed that the captured criminals will face punishment according to the law.
