PHOOLNAGAR (Dunya News) – Sadar police have claimed to have arrested a bandit when he was injured in a shootout with law enforcers, Dunya News reported here on Thursday.
The injured robber was identified as Amir. He was shifted to hospital. His two accomplices escaped during the ‘encounter. Police have launched a manhunt for the fleeing robbers.
The accused is a history-sheeter and wanted in 10 cases of crimes, police claimed, and added that the robber had recently injured a passer-by during a robbery.
Police have seized a stolen motorcycle, a pistol and other valuables from the arrested robber and formed teams to apprehend the fleeing bandits.
