LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has intensified its crackdown on human traffickers, arresting three agents involved in visa fraud.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the arrested suspects have been identified as Muhammad Munir Hussain, Abdul Rahim, and Shehroz Ali.
The accused allegedly deceived citizens with false promises of overseas employment, extorting a total of Rs3.05 million from victims.
One of the suspects, Muhammad Munir Hussain, had been declared wanted by the FIA since 2020. Investigations revealed that the accused failed to send citizens abroad despite receiving heavy payments and later went into hiding.
The FIA has initiated further investigations following the arrests, reaffirming its commitment to curb human smuggling and protect citizens from fraudulent activities.
