Constable shot dead in DI Khan
MANDI BAHAUDDIN (Dunya News) – Two suspects robbers were taken out in an ‘encounter’ with police. However, law-enforcers claimed that the alleged outlaws were killed in the firing of their own accomplices, Dunya News reported here on Monday.
The accused identified as Shoaib and Mukhtar were wanted in two dozen cases of heinous crimes of murder, robbery, abduction for ransom and attempted murder.
Malakwal police were informed about the presence of dacoits in a village. When law-enforcers reached there, the robbers opened fire on raiding team, who returned the fire. As result of this crossfire, two suspects were exterminated by the firing of their own accomplices.
Police started investigation and launched a search operation for the arrest of the fleeing robbers.
CONSTABLE GUNNED DOWN IN DI KHAN
In Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), a constable was gunned down. He was returning home when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him, killing him on the spot. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Ali. Police have started investigation.
