NAUSHAHRO FEROZE (Dunya News) – Police have arrested a man for allegedly burying his 15-day daughter alive in Tharoshah village, Dunya News reported here on Sunday.
On the complaint of the girl’s mother, police exhumed the body and arrested the man who told the police that his daughter was ill and he did not have money for her treatment.
He said when his daughter fell ill, he went to a doctor who advised him to take the baby to Hyderabad for treatment because she was suffering from thalassaemia.
He told police he buried his daughter in an agriculture land after putting her in a sack.
Police have registered a case against the suspect and shifted the body to hospital for autopsy.
