Four robbers arrested after 'encounters' with police

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have apprehended four bandits involved in dozens of cases of heinous crimes, Dunya News reported.
In the first incident in Qayaum Abad area, police arrested two robbers when they were escaping by a motorcycle after plundering valuables from passersby.
Police were chasing the robbers when they opened fire on the police party. Police retaliated and injured them. After the encounter, police managed to nab them. They were identified as Nadeem and Shahzad.
In the second incident in Memon Colony of Hyderabad, two robbers were arrested after an encounter with police.
The law enforcers were informed that two robbers were busy plundering citizens. Police rushed to the scene. On seeing police approaching to them, they opened fire on the police party.
Police retaliated in an effective manner and arrested them after the brief encounter. Further investigation was under way.
According to the police, the robbers are history-sheeters and involved in dozens of cases of heinous crimes.
