KASUR (Dunya News) – Two robbers who killed a citizen on resistance during a robbery in Mochipura area were arrested after an ‘encounter’ with police here on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
Police were informed that four robbers who had killed a citizen identified as Muhammad Saleem on resistance a few days ago were hiding in an area and also planning to loot valuables from citizens.
Police after getting information rushed to the scene to hunt down the outlaws.
To see the police approaching them, the robbers opened fire at them. Police responded effectively and silenced their guns and searched the area.
During the search, police found two robbers lying injured and arrested them and shifted to hospital. But their two accomplices managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
The arrested robbers were identified as Sajid and Kashif. Police were raiding to track down the fleeing outlaws.
According to police, the arrested robbers are very dangerous bandits and involved in 37 cases of robbery, kidnap and snatching and are history-sheeters.
Police have recovered a stolen bike, cash and two pistols from them and cordoned off the area after registering a case against them.
Police were collecting evidence and recording statements from the passers-by to find out the clue about the fleeing robbers.
