LAHORE (Dunya News) – Four people including a girl were injured in firing between two groups in Lower Mall area, Dunya News reported.
According to the Lower Mall SHO, two groups traded fire, injuring four people including a girl.
He said police were investigating to ascertain the reason for the bloody feud. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted those injured in the shootout to hospital.
The heavy firing created panic and fear in the area and locals demanded police high-ups ensure security.
Police have stepped up security in the area and are collecting evidence and recording statements from the area people.
Initial report suggests that firing is the outcome of a domestic issue between the two groups.
Police have launched a search operation to arrest those involved in firing with sophisticated weapons.
