Police claim the suspected outlaws were involved in many heinous crimes
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Two alleged robbers were killed in shootouts with police in different areas of the city.
These encounters took place in Badamibagh and Shahdra areas.
According to the police, the deceased were history-sheeters and wanted in many cases of robbery, kidnapping and murdering.
The alleged suspects were given signals by the police during a routine checking to stop, but they did not stop.
When police chased them, they opened fire. Police responded effectively and killed two robbers.
Their other accomplices managed to escape. Arms and valuables were recovered from the dead robbers.
Their bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem. An investigation is under way.
